Digital camera lens cleaner not available. What can I use as an alternative?
Don’t know that why digital camera Lens cleaner are not available in my area. But my lens has become dirty with fingerprints of my small brother.. What can I use to clean my lens alternative to a Lens cleaner? Can I use a casette player’s head cleaner or any other alchoholic fluid to clean the outer surface of my lens? Please answer…

Don’t do it. Either use the right stuff, or don’t use anything at all.
We have seen “body spray” used here, and well, basically, you get the idea.

Use a lint-free cotton cloth (dry) or even better a 3M Microfiber cloth (dry) to clean the finger prints. Don’t use any liquids.
Remeber to clean with the cloth only after you have blown away all the dust particles using a blower.
First, NEVER use alcohol on a lens. Unless you want to destroy it.
There really isn’t any such thing as “digital lens cleaner”. Just use a soft bristle brush to remove any dust and then use a lens cloth to clean the lens. If there are stubborn smudges just breathe on the lens and use the cloth.
A really good source of information on the care and cleaning of your camera can be found in the Owner’s Manual that came with it.
If your lens accepts filters you really should invest in a UV/Haze filter to protect the front element.
